Okay, this is Post # 9 of Ron’s Weblog.

It’s been a long & often-interrupted journey to get the journal this far.

Now the Scroll is Rolling & i don’t even know how to stop it.

Let’s just slip into the “random favorites” category for a little while.

i find it amazing to be able to take a picture

& send it out the same day

around the world

amazing to improvise & publish it anyway

wonderful to cast away fears & move forward with this experiment

The view of 3 palms (above, “Wailoa Pond”) is from my former workplace.  I say former because the bar/nightclub & the new restaurant got closed down by new owners… Long story for other ears.

I was a janitor.  Now I’m a musician again!

A half-dozen Japanese kids call me teacher.  Eleven grand children call me Papa.

Two granddaughters call me Grampa because they call Gabriel Papa.

We’re fortunate to be able to live here among the beauty of the Big Island!

And here are two of the girl’s cousins, Tihani & Kaipo’i, a year apart but looking like twins…

And the other two girl cousins, Kiakahi & Brianna…  The other seven cousins are all boys, as you have seen in previous posts.  One of these days we’ll do a family groupings page so you can see who belongs to whom.

Check the “About Ron” page for a view right from our driveway.  I never get tired of taking pictures of the mountain, the grandchildren, or the Hilo shorelines.  Feel free to send comments or suggestions anytime, either through WordPress or directly to:  ronbroomell@gmail.com
